a good night’s sleep

By in Master Bedroom

I finally have my bed back together with my new bedding from IKEA and Macy’s and I haven’t slept so well in months! I’m so comfortable and warm at night (so are Chloe and Thurston). The room is really starting to take shape now. I’m also in love with my IKEA Hemnes nightstand and lamp from CB2. I feel so much more comfortable in this room now compared to before I renovated it. I still new to find a throw for my bed!

WOAH! I didn’t see this post before!!

Adam, it looks SO good! I love the night table and lamp, they look great! It’s so weird to seem set up finally…seeing a vision realized. 🙂 🙂

And now you’re REALLY going to hate me, because looking at these photos…I kind of think you shouldn’t have a curtain at all. Your window is so pretty! Maybe you could just have a discreet fabric roller shade mounted inside in case you need privacy??

Ok, I don’t hate you because I have been torn about the curtains all night, and asked my friend Sara if they looked all right. I like the curtains but I didn’t like how they looked at the top after I put them up, so I really like the idea of the clip rings. But I was torn after I put the rod up to, but I’m not sure I don’t want to have curtain, and I love how they match the light shade. I was planning on putting in a new white roller shade (the other one was so grimy) anyway if I ever want to block out light. So if I keep the curtains I’ll get clip rings. I’m pretty sure I’ll keep the curtains, but I have to think.
