windows and floors

By in Anna Says..., Inspiration & Ideas, Master Bedroom

The damask curtains should be hung above the window so the bottom edge just grazes the floor. The black rod should be mounted wide enough so the curtains, when opened, will allow maximum daylight to enter the room.
The white curtain should be mounted just inside the closet opening. The grommets will allow it to be opened and closed easily, and the heavy fabric will ensure that the closet contents are kept hidden.
The rugs can go in the washing machine, but since they have no backing, a rug pad ($1.99 at IKEA) will be necessary.
WAVERLY HOME damask window panel / $39.99 (x2)
THOMAS O’BRIEN acorn drapery rod / $24.99
IKEA MERETE curtain / $39.99
IKEA SVEJE rug / $12.99
IKEA LISBET rug / $24.99
Total cost for windows and floors, $185.
(p.s. We’re still under $1000 for everything! Call Design on a Dime!)

I love those curtains and the simplicity of the rod. I love the rugs too, but have I mentioned Chloe likes to eat rugs?

    Just kidding. 🙂

I totally understand . All of our rugs have been rolled up and put away since we got Fritz. We’re hoping he outgrows it…

Well, it will still be fab without the rugs, especially with a painted floor.

Well, it might work though. She is totally random about it. Actually, my room stays closed during the day because there is one spot on the carpet where Chloe pees sometimes if the mood strikes her. I have a feeling with the carpet gone that will end.
